KANDY Destroys With Dubstep Production "Non Stop"

New MusicGaby PeytonComment

Following his debut performance at Ultra Music Festival, the release of his Flavors EP, and more recently the release of collaboration with Titus, “Doubetter,” KANDY is back again, but this time experimenting with a harder sound. Today, out on Thrive Records, is “Non Stop,” an original dubstep single with featured vocals from jungle pioneers the Ragga Twins.

Immediately recognizable are the Ragga Twins’ vocals, layered on a quick trap beat with drum sounds and crazy digital effects. Progressively picking up the tempo, KANDY excites listeners as he manipulates the synthesizer to create pulsing basslines and drops that give the beat a powerful, more intense sound.

"I wanted to try something outside of my comfort zone, something unique but relatable for my fans, I think Non Stop is that track" KANDY

We have to agree and we are certainly impressed, as he continues to showcase his promising talent as a producer. With this release, KANDY only further solidifies that he is not only capable of creating a multi-layered sound, but also that he is able to experiment and master multi-genres under the Electronic umbrella.

With early support from Skrillex, DJ Snake, Pegboard Nerds, Bassnectar, Wiwek, and DJ Craze, check out what YourEDM, ThisSongSlaps + Skrillex had to say regarding KANDY as an artist + the new track!

"Of all the first time (Ultra) festival sets we hear, a show of this caliber is certainly hard to come by. While standing, several spectators could be heard asking why KANDY’s career hadn’t hit the (Ultra) Main Stage yet." - YourEDM

"We see a progressing star (Titus) who is about to have a huge year" - ThisSongSlaps

"The New York native has once again delivered a refreshing tune once again proving the electronic world he is as versatile as the come" - ThisSongSlaps

"It's pretty crazy, we just found this record and I like it a lot so, I'm going to play it!" - Skrillex OWSLA Radio on Beats 1 Episode 7
