Bid on Unique Artist Packages in EDC Week Charity Auction

NewsGaby PeytonComment

Alas! With just a little over a month away, it's time to start gearing up for Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas. Returning to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 17- 19, this year marks “20 Years Under the Electric Sky” and Insomniac and eBay for Charity have teamed up to help create memorable and unforgettable experiences for artists and fans alike.

Insomniac, the foundation behind EDC, is celebrating the festival’s 20th anniversary by giving back through their charitable fundraiser, EDC Charity Auctions. Now through Thursday, May 12 at 12 a.m. (PDT), fans may bid on eBay towards a variety of artist and festival related packages for their chance at once-in-a-lifetime experiences and adventures. With over 60 packages to choose from, there is ample opportunity for EDC attendees to completely customize their EDC weekend into one they will never forget.

Packages vary but include invaluable opportunities like being able to drop the first track of EDC Vegas, take over the EDC Snapchat, cut the ribbon at the gate to start the weekend, and even go onstage to propose to your significant other. Aside from festival-related packages, there are a plethora of artist-related prizes that consist of chances to go on the wildest adventures with your favorite producers. For example winners can skydive indoors with Gareth Emery, zip line with Dada Life, take a helicopter ride with Andy C, skydive with Party Favor, or go on an exotic racing adventure with Marshmello. For those who may not be thrill-seeking adrenaline junkies, you can bid on packages to make pizza with Zomboy, play beer bong with W&W, score a DJ lesson from A-Trak, or be the T-Rex during Excision’s set. The full list of packages can be viewed at

Furthermore, the best part of the auctions is that Insomniac will donate 100% of the proceeds to The Shade Tree, a local nonprofit in Southern Nevada. The Shade Tree, in operation for the last 26 years, is devoted to enhancing the quality of life for domestic violence victims, providing over 6,500 women (and their children and pets) with assistance and services on their 24-hour campus, each year.

So, experience EDC Las Vegas like never before (and maybe never again) and visit to place your bids for your chance to win, and more importantly, to support this amazing philanthropic effort by Insomniac and eBay for Charity.
