Festivals ARE my life. Music feeds my soul and narrates my every day. Social media is MY JAM + JELLY, i mean, I do it for a living. & geofilters? Had one of my own for my birthday.
It’s safe to say that music has always played a key role in my life. At a young age, I was a Van Halen guru. A few seconds into a song + I could tell you it was my favorite 80’s hair band. Fast forward to now + music is my everything. I’m always listening to something + constantly looking for shows to attend. If i love it, I blog about it.
Fun fact: My very first festival was in Hungary w/ my family. And you know what? It was pretty damn awesome to experience Armin Van Buuren live w/ my parents by my side!
But it wasn’t really until I attended TomorrowWorld that I fell hard for music festivals. There, I was captivated. My heart completely stolen by the beat of the music + the thousands of new friends that surrounded me. I danced, I smiled, I even cried. The community that music + these festivals create is magnificent, beautiful and uncanny.
Like festivals, social media has the power to create community which is why I’ve dedicated my career to it. Social Media gives me the opportunity to share the vibrance of these events and the good in this world. It allows us to connect with people all around the world that share the same love for music. Which is why I would be honored to not only take this musical month long journey but to share it with the world!
See, I’ve already got a head start. I’ve been curating my own hashtag #procogo to document my life as a Professional Concert Go-er. I’ve mastered the art of being in the moment of music yet capturing “ALL THE FEELS” with my camera or even just my phone.
So, I guess that’s why I think you should choose me to be @StubHub’s #FestivalPro. Winning this #contest would be more than just a dream come true. And yes, I did actually take this photo.
PS. Another fun fact: I made a last minute decision to go to Lollapalooza just days before and bought my ticket on @StubHub. I kid you not! Look it up. 😉 #festivalpro #stubhub #contest
