“Did you see last week's episode?”
It seems everyone is always talking about what tv series they’re currently into. I’ve had my fair share of favorite shows but often times they’ll slip away from my schedule. When my to-do list piles up, it can be hard to find time to sit in front of the tv at a certain time. Especially when there aren’t any shows that have caught your attention. Well, I’ve officially been sucked into a new series and have figured out how to slip it into my schedule.
Say hello to The Bold Type. Inspired by the life of Joanna Coles, CCO for Hearst Magazines and previous editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, The Bold Type follows around three 20-something women working at Scarlet magazine - one a writer, one a social media director and one an assistant. Sitting in with them as they hide out in the Fashion closet and move through New York City, we’re taken through the ups and downs of their personal and professional lives. As a 20-something working in social media and a blogger, I’ve found myself really connecting with different situations and look forward to catching a new episode every Tuesday.
To make sure I never miss an episode, I downloaded Cincinnati Bell’s Watch Fioptics app. Since I have their Fioptic service, I can watch live TV right on my phone through the app which includes access to 70 different channels. The only catch is that I have to be connected to my houses wireless network. Instead of dragging all of my things into the living room, I can leave everything at my desk and just prop my phone up next to my laptop. A quick scroll through the channels and I’m ready to multi-task! While I’ve got The Bold Type streaming on the Watch Fioptics app, I can blog and write content. I'm not here to Netflix and chill, I'm here to watch and get things done! Bonus: Since we're still soaking up the summer sun, I can take my favorite shows poolside. Talk about ultimate relaxation! Try the app out for yourself and let me know what shows you're watching.
